Government Meetings

LTV is charged with documenting East Hampton Town Government meetings, including all Town Board Meetings, Town BoardWorkSessions (sometimes referred to as Brown Bag Meetings), Zoning Board of Appeals meetings and Planning Board Meetings. To accomplish this task, LTV has created a secondary broadcast operations center located in the Town Hall building. Using remote-operated cameras, LTV is able to document all government meetings and to broadcast them live throughout the town - enabling all residents to have access to these events as they happen - whether because they are homebound, otherwise restricted, or prefer watching from the comforts of their own homes.
All East Hampton Town Government meetings are archived in the LTV Archive Library located at our studios where they remain indefinitely. LTV has Town Board meetings dating back as far as 1984 for the reference of the community. Copies may be ordered by contacting LTV directly.
LTV also documents East Hampton Village board meetings and broadcasts them live for the community.
Production Training
LTV offers many ways to learn the art of Television Production. For starters, we offer a Public Access Orientation on the first Monday of every month (excluding holidays) at 6:00 P.M.. During this short hour-long orientation, participants will learn about how public access works and will get to ask questions about the process. On the first Tuesday of each quarter, LTV holds a day-long producers class. It is a prerequisite for use of LTV's studios and equipment. The training is designed for novices and will provide practical hands-on experience: students will learn the principles of set design, show hosting, camera and sound operation, and directing, and even produce their own shows that will air on LTV. As always, all are invited to tour LTV's facility and learn how to get involved in public access here in East Hampton. Call today to sign up!
Full-Service Production
LTV offers full-service production services for local non-profit organizations and schools that are looking to leverage the power of Television to deliver their message to the community. From filming events to aiding with the production of regular programs, LTV acts as a trusted advisor to these organizations to help them become stronger within the community, and to do so with minimal investment. Look under the "Links" menu at top to see some of the friends we've made in the community.
