LTV Wins Community Media Awards Print
Retreat PromoWe all like a little positive feedback! Even when we turn 25.
This year, the Alliance for Community Media, a nationwide, non-profit organization (www.alliancecm.org) committed to assuring everyoneʼs access to electronic media, gave LTV two of its prestigious programming awards in a competition that covered the entire Northeast region. LTVʼs “Reading with Rockey” won second place in the childrenʼs programming category, and a video for “The Retreat”, which provides domestic violence services for East Hampton, also won second prize in the promotions category.
Weʼd like to congratulate—and thank!—everyone who worked on these two very worthwhile projects. And we look forward to producing more work like this in the future.

How to Get LTV Print
How To Get LTV
If you are a Cablevision subscriber with a cable box, you can find LTV on channel 20 and EG on channel 22. If you do not have a cable box, you will need a television equipped with a QAM tuner in order to access LTV and EG broadcasts.

What is a QAM tuner?

A QAM tuner is present in some new digital televisions and similar devices. It enables direct reception of digital cable channels without the use of a set-top box. If you have a digital television with a built-in or attached QAM tuner, LTV and EG can be found on channel 99-7913 and 99-7914. Some television sets may be able to access each channel directly by pressing 99, the hyphen button, and then 7913 or 7914. If you cannot access each channel directly, you may have to go to channel 99 and browse up from there, or go to channel 2 and browse down.

Some users may need to reprogram their television sets in order to ensure that they are receiving the full range of channels. Please consult your television set's user manual for instructions on how to do so. If you are still having difficulties accessing LTV and EG on your television set, please call us at (631) 537-2777 for assistance. For more information about the transition to digital, please visit Cablevision's website. Additional information and help can also be found at: http://www.dtvanswers.com
