This spring, LTV will present a six-part series on the “Retreat,” the only domestic violence agency serving the East End. “We want to build awareness that we offer much more than our residential Shelter, which is our most visible service,” says Jennifer Palmer, Development
Director.
The series starts with a look at the Retreat and its 22-year history, and then highlights the range of support available and how to access it, a view of the abusers and steps to recovery, the residential Retreat Shelter, teen-dating violence and cyber bullying, and breaking the
cycle through education in the schools. The series is hosted by Cindy Feinberg and produced by Katherine Ryder, both board members; it is filmed by Paul Nickolatos.
