Create Your Own Podcast!
as a learning series designed to help you tell your stories in this
exciting medium that’s growing day-by-day.
Everybody has stories to tell — what’s yours? You can create a podcast about
anything: whether it’s your own personal interests and commentaries, a marketing
tool for your business, or a way to share insights about our community and neighbors.

TONY DEC is long established as a Podcast Strategist & Content Developer, since podcasting began in 2004, and is currently developing content in the new Dolby Atmos spatial audio format for podcasters.
Tony created, launched and led podcasting for Bloomberg News, and has developed content for the Icahn School of Medicine, Conde Nast and TIME magazines. Additionally, Tony’s work includes editing the new Pushkin Industries’ audiobook-podcast “Higher Animals: Vaccines, Synthetic Biology, and the Future of Life” by The New Yorker writer Michael Specter; the Peabody Award-winning documentary “Leonard Bernstein: An American Life”; and Here’s The Thing with Alec Baldwin.
From 2018-2022, Tony was a founding co-director and lead instructor of Podcast Fellows at Stony Brook University-Southampton: the world’s first-ever, dualsemester
academic training & development program for aspiring podcasters. Previously, he taught audio journalism for several years at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. Originally from Southampton, Tony now lives in
Bridgehampton and is a visual artist and musician.
