Five Times in One Night

In this comedic quintet, five couples explore the delights and disappointments of their sex lives. Whether they are the first two people on Earth or the last two, modern partners with shifting needs, exes on the eve of a life-altering event, or twelfth-century pen pals, following those most natural desires uncovers truths about their humanity. Altogether, FIVE TIMES IN ONE NIGHT is a hilarious examination of intimacy through the ages.

CARLY COOPER

Carly Cooper is an actor born and raised in NYC. She is a proud graduate of The University of Michigan’s SMTD and recently received her MFA from The Actors Studio Drama School. She is thrilled to be returning to this exciting stage in the remounting of her MFA thesis after serving as The Neo-Political Cowgirls’ company manager on their 2023 run of The Dreamer at LTV. Recent credits include Five Times in One Night (ASDS Rep), Authorial Intent (ASDS Rep), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (NPC). She would like to thank Jee Duman and Ana Mari de Quesada for their guidance, the team at LTV, Kate Mueth, and her family for all their support. Special thanks to Josh Gladstone for the opportunity to elevate this production and his continued support and belief in her artistic goals.

CAMERON EASTLAND

Cameron Eastland is delighted to be reprising his role in Five Times in One Night with LTV, a play that originally served as his MFA thesis at the Actors Studio Drama School. This production marks a significant milestone, bringing together the original cast and director for a reunion of artistic vision and shared growth. Cameron’s journey from thesis proposal to this stage has been a rewarding and transformative experience, and he is grateful to have navigated it with such a dedicated group. Special thanks to his family for their unwavering support and belief, Jee and Ana Mari for their mentorship, and LTV for supporting new artists. Cameron is excited to bring this labor of love to a new audience and continue exploring the humor and humanity of this silly play. PCPA 2017. USU 2020. ASDS 2024.

RABIAH ROWTHER

Rabiah Rowther is a director, screenwriter, and producer based in New York City. She has served on the Screening Committee for the Hamptons International Film Festival since 2022, and recent directing credits include: The Watcher in the Woods (Urban Stages, Associate Director), Five Times in One Night (ASDS Rep Season), two dudes, a couple of brews, and a rusty canoe (ASDS Rep Season), An Offer You Can’t Refuse (Teatro Latea), Hillsdale (Sovereign House), Platonic (Loading Dock Theatre), and Flaccid (The Tank, Assistant Director). After receiving her BS in Film and Television from Boston University, Rabiah went on to receive an MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and an MFA in Theatre Directing from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University.
