There’s nothing wrong with spending a little time on social media (in moderation, of course). From pop culture to pets, with a healthy serving of food and other fun, there’s something for everyone on platforms like Twitter and Instagram. Here are five great local social media accounts worth following.

You’ve heard of social influencers? Meet a pair of “smile influencers.” Siblings George and Gracie have big personalities to go with their puppy-dog eyes, four legs, and copper-colored coats. The pair of adorable golden retrievers lives in the Hamptons and even starred in their own calendar this year. They look so good, you won’t want to eat ‘em. But you should, because Cousin Patty’s Cookies are some of the best in town. Patty, who is from East Hampton, posts pics of all the cute custom cookies she makes — photos that will make you smile and cookies that will make you drool.
