​Joe Garsetti: Master Magician & Illusionist

Joe Garsetti, a talented magician and illusionist from Sparta, NJ, is renowned for his captivating performances that seamlessly blend illusions, manipulation, comedy, and audience participation. His award-winning dove act has garnered significant recognition within the magic community. Joe’s performances have graced venues across the country, from the Seattle Aquarium and Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas to state fairs in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Oregon, and Idaho.

Recent career highlights include appearances at the prestigious “4F” Close-Up Magic Convention in Buffalo, NY, as well as a full-scale illusion show at the renowned Smoke and Mirrors Theater in Glenside, PA. Smoke and Mirrors, a 101-seat magic theater, is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious venues for magicians in the country. Joe will return to perform at this iconic theater in June of 2026.

Joe's stage partner, dancer and actress Isabelle Rayne, is a skilled performer currently pursuing her master’s degree in theater studies at Montclair State University. Together, they present mesmerizing stage illusions, including the iconic “sawing a woman in half,” made famous by PT Selbit, along with other astonishing illusions you’ve likely never seen before.

Recognized as a "triple threat" in the magic world, Joe excels in close-up magic, stage performances, and grand illusions. His shows are infused with energy, humor, and personal anecdotes from his upbringing in Huntington, Long Island. In addition to performing, Joe is also a skilled designer and builder of many of his own illusions, demonstrating his creativity and craftsmanship.

In 2010, Joe and his wife, Diane, took a bold step by purchasing a dilapidated firehouse building in Sparta, NJ. After two years of extensive renovations, they transformed the space into the Sparta Ave Stage, an intimate 66-seat theater that opened its doors in 2012. This beloved venue quickly became a hub for magicians, comedians, and other performers. Over the years, the Sparta Ave Stage has hosted some of the world’s finest magicians from Australia, France, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, and England.

The Sparta Ave Stage has earned a stellar reputation in the magic community, with many magicians considering it one of the finest venues in the country for magical performances.
