What is Community Television? Read all about it HERE.
Public Access Television exists to ensure that media belongs to the community. Through cable franchise agreements, residents are given the opportunity to create and share non-commercial programming that reflects local voices, arts, civic dialogue, culture, and independent thought.
At LTV, public access is community-powered media. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, public access programming at LTV doesn’t stop at cable. Sponsor support allows us to distribute community-produced content across multiple platforms - from traditional broadcast to streaming, YouTube, and beyond - expanding the reach of local voices far past a single channel.
Separate from our public access mission, LTV Studios also operates as a professional production facility. Private rentals and independent productions are paid services for filmmakers, brands, creators, and organizations producing commercial or independently distributed content. These projects retain their own creative and commercial rights and are not part of the public access framework.
One Roof, two pathways, one mission. LTV is a nonprofit media platform becoming a next-generation social broadcasting & live events center for the East End.
