COME VOLUNTEER AT LTV - AND SEE OUR SHOWS FOR FREE!
LTV welcomes volunteers at its events, from musical performances to plays to educational programming! Volunteers are able to see our shows free-of-charge in exchange for their help.
Plus, it’s a great way to get out and meet other like-minded people in our community.
Are you a community member who appreciates entertaining and culturally relevant programs?
A retiree who wants to keep active and engaged? A high school or college student in need of volunteer hours for graduation? A young adult looking to build up your résumé with unique experiences? LTV is the place to be!

** FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS **
What types of activities/tasks do LTV volunteers perform?
LTV volunteers can help out in several ways:
• Ushering: Greet people at the door, hand out programs, helping people find their seats.
• Hospitality: Work the concession stand to sell snacks and drinks to the guests. All concession sales go right back into our nonprofit organization to help fund our mission!
• Raffle ticket table: As we raise money for a new roof and other facility maintenance needs, our ongoing raffle is an important source of donations. This kind of assistance is critical!
• Backstage help: If you don’t mind a bit of heavy lifting, our shows often need helping hands to
set-up or break-down chairs, tables, and other equipment.
• Archive help: Our archivist always appreciates help to catalog, label, and describe our historical
video footage. Contact genie@ltveh.org if you’re interested in this kind of task.
Do I have to be 18 or older to volunteer?
Pouring adult beverages does require you to be at least 18 years old. Otherwise, there are no restrictions! High School and College students are also often eligible for our internship program.
How often will I be called upon to help out?
We recognize everyone has priorities and varying schedules, so you may do as much or as little as you like. Our volunteer program coordinator will reach out periodically with upcoming dates/times when help is needed, and you can say “yes” or “no” according to your availability!
How do I sign up to volunteer?
Email our Director of Community Engagement, Chrissy Sampson, to tell us you’re interested
in helping out: chrissy@ltveh.org.
What else is asked of LTV volunteers?
We ask that you fill out a simple information form with your name, phone number and email address, and an emergency contact name/number. This form also asks you to note the types of
tasks that you think are most appropriate for you.

If I see a specific event that especially interests me, can I sign up to help out?
You can certainly ask about volunteering at upcoming events that you find especially interesting!
We encourage our volunteers to look at our calendar and see what’s coming up. We will do our best to accommodate your interest in helping out at specific events. Note that the more advance notice you provide in making such a request, the more likely it is to occur!
