LIVE-STREAMED EVENT ON LTV’S CHANNEL 20 & YOUTUBE
Calling all business owners, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs from across the South Fork: You are cordially invited to LTV Studios on Monday, May the 4th, for the inaugural Hamptons Business Forum, hosted jointly by the Greater of East Hampton Chamber of Commerce and LTV, for an enjoyable and productive night of networking, learning, and listening. As businesses across the region ramp up to the busy season for tourism, hospitality, support services, and retail traffic — just a few short weeks away! — this “meeting of the minds” promises to be both fun and fruitful. Chamber of Commerce members from Montauk to Westhampton Beach are invited to enjoy food and beverages from sponsors such as East Hampton Kitchen, BottleHampton, Red Horse Market and Springs Brewery. Attendance is free. Kathleen King, the original founder of Tate’s Bake Shop, whose original cookie recipe is now a national household name via the Mondelez International brand, will offer a keynote address.
“I’m really looking forward to bringing together leaders from the South Fork chambers of commerce so we can compare notes on the challenges — and our successes — faced by our business and nonprofit members,” said Gavin Menu, president of the Greater East Hampton Chamber of Commerce. “The businesses in these communities operate in very similar economies, having to navigate a somewhat slow offseason before an extremely busy summer season. This event at LTV will be a great opportunity to take stock of where things stand before the summer really gets going." A panel talk, moderated by Chrissy Sampson of LTV’s East End News program, will include Chamber of Commerce leaders from across the region discussing important issues and sharing insight. Following the panel talk and keynote address, pianist Axel Quincke will perform on LTV’s baby grand and DJ Chile from Party 105.1 FM Radio will provide the musical backdrop for networking.
"LTV Studios is buzzing as we all gear up for another season of creativity, madness and fun. Let's do some business together! LTV is proud to host The Chambers of the East End at this inaugural event - come meet, mingle, listen to some brilliant speakers, some world-class music, some tasty lite bites; and let LTV Studios show you what WE can do to get YOUR message out there this summer!" LTV Executive Director - Josh Gladstone
Kathleen King
Hamptons Business Forum’s Inaugural Keynote Speaker

Kathleen King, is the founder of the wildly popular and now legendary Tate's Bake Shop. She began baking when she was just eleven years old, selling small batches of her crisp, buttery chocolate chip cookies off of a fold-out card table on North Sea Farm, her parent's Long Island farmstead.
In 1980 at the age of 21, Kathleen opened her first bakeshop and developed a full line of traditional American baked goods, perfecting every recipe herself and baking each dessert from scratch. Named after her father, Tate's Bake Shop is the result of Kathleen's love of baking and keen eye for quality.
Voted the Best Bakery in the Hamptons for many years, Tate's Bake Shop is a destination for locals and tourists alike. Her award-winning cookies are now distributed nationally.
Tate’s chocolate chip cookie was rated the #1 cookie in America, by Consumer Reports magazine, completing Kathleen’s dream.
In 2014, Kathleen sold Tate's Bake Shop to The Riverside Company, a private equity firm, staying on in a minority position, creating new recipes and serving on the board. In 2018, Riverside sold to Mondalez.

LTV, public access is community-powered media. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, public access programming at LTV doesn’t stop at cable. Sponsor support allows us to distribute community-produced content across multiple platforms - from traditional broadcast to streaming, YouTube, and beyond - expanding the reach of local voices far past a single channel.
Separate from our public access mission, LTV Studios also operates as a professional production facility. Private rentals and independent productions are paid services for filmmakers, brands, creators, and organizations producing commercial or independently distributed content. These projects retain their own creative and commercial rights and are not part of the public access framework.
One Roof, two pathways, one mission. LTV is a nonprofit media platform becoming a next-generation social broadcasting & live events center for the East End.
