“Hey, Old Friend! A Cabaret Jubilee”

KT Sullivan, artistic director of the Mabel Mercer Foundation, returns to East Hampton with Mark Nadler following last year’s sold-out show Nice work if You Can Get It!  Their new show, Hey, Old Friend! A Cabaret Jubilee  is a mini Cabaret Convention that not only showcases their talents but also features two powerhouse performers: multi-award-winning legend Christine Pedi and the dazzling Stephanie Pope. The New York Times hails Nadler as “Mr. Entertainment” and describes KT as “whipped cream atop a surprisingly nutritious dessert.” Join them as they celebrate the best of the American Songbook.

KT Sullivan

Became artistic director of The Mabel Mercer Foundation in March of 2012. She starred on Broadway in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and at Irish Rep in “Love, Noël” with Steve Ross. She headlined in the Oak Room of the Algonquin for over two decades, and now performs regularly in NYC at Birdland, Don’t Tell Mama, Pangea, and Crazy Coqs in London. Her show “Rhyme, Women, and Song” was filmed for PBS, as was her Sondheim Show with Jeff Harnar. She recorded six albums for DRG Records and was married for 22 years to Stephen Downey, president of the Browning Society. website-ktsullivan.com www.ktsullivan.com

Christine Pedi:

A recent MAC Award nominee for her yearly show Snow Bizness, Christine has performed in London, South Africa, numerous New York City venues—both glamorous and gritty—and aboard many cruise ships, including the Queen Mary 2. Her series The Wicked Stage: Songs About Show Business features her hosting and performing alongside celebrated Broadway and cabaret artists at 54 Below. Her Broadway credits include Chicago (Mama Morton), Talk Radio with Liev Schreiber, and Little Me with Martin Short. Off Broadway, she has been a regular in Forbidden Broadway, Spamilton, Forbidden Hollywood (Drama Desk nomination), and NEWSical.

Now embracing the “dowager” phase of her career, she has played Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest at Westport Country Playhouse and Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. She appeared on The Sopranos as Mrs. Bobby Baccalà—two episodes, five lines, and memorably deceased. Christine can also be heard daily on SiriusXM’s On Broadway channel.
