(O)n the 5:31 travels back and forth across the ten-year span of two intertwined relationships. As he struggles to complete his wife's dying wishes, a grieving Benny tries to piece the fragments of their life together from memory. In the end, he'll come to understand that he wasn't the only one who lost the love of their life. An examination on the twists and turns of life and the space between what really happened and how we want to remember it.

DIEGO AGUIRRE

Diego Aguirre (Benny O’Brian) is a NYC based actor and Marine Corps veteran. He grew up in Ecuador, where his family is from. Selected Theatre credits include: Queen of Jacks (Chain Theatre, Dir. David Zayas Jr.), What’s Prison Like (Nylon Fusion, Dir. David Zayas Jr.), Occupied Territories (59e59, Dir. Mollye Maxner). Selected Film credits include: The Ballad of a Hustler (Heitor Dhalia), The Upside (Neil Burger), Sometime Other Than Now (Dylan McCormick), New Year’s Eve @ Sunny’s (Bob Giraldi). Selected TV: FBI, Monsterland, The Punisher, It’s Bruno. Diego is also a frequent storyteller for The Moth and Actors Theater of NYC (ATNYC).

Ivette Dumeng (Gina) is an award winning actress. Theater: Esperanza (Candlelight new play by John Patrick Shanley), Charlie Chaplin (The Chaplin Plays new play by Don Nigro), Francesca De La Tours (The Real Machiavelli by Monica Bauer), Alicia (Half Moon Bay new play by John Jiler), Queen Kristina (August Strindberg’s Kristina), and Julie in Miss Julie. She is a member of The League of Professional Theatre Women, Actors Studio PDU, and SAG/AFTRA.

David Zayas Jr. is a Bronx Native Photographer, Actor, theater and film Director. David is a member of The Actors Studio’s Playwright/Directors Unit and LAByrinth Theater Company. He has directed with LAByrinth, Planet Connections, Actors Theatre of NY, NY Theater Festival, Samuel French OOB Festival, and The Chain Theater along with award winning films in over 20 festivals.

Sawyer Spielberg (Producer) is an American actor and producer. He has produced plays such as Extinction by Gabe McKinley , Leviticus by Mandi Riggi and most recently Stupid Fucking Bird by Aaron Posner. Sawyer Spielberg is also one of the executive producers on the independent film Martyr of Gowanus.
