What do you really know to be true about historic preservation?
Tara Cubie, Preservation Director at Preservation Long Island will break down
the most common myths about historic preservation such as,
"historic designation means you can’t change anything about your house”,
or “preserving old buildings lowers property values".
Tara will set the record straight using
real-life examples from East Hampton and across Long Island.
Enjoy light refreshments and a Q&A following.
